OPTEX Inc. today announced that Mr. Richard Gaffney will be joining OPTEX Inc. as the National Sales Manager- Industrial Door Sensors, effective May 16, 2021.
Mr. Gaffney will be joining the company from Overhead Door Corporation, where he was the Commercial Sales Manager for five years. Mr. Gaffney will be bringing his experience in sales management to OPTEX Inc. to develop and grow the Industrial Door Division in the North American Market.
Additionally, Mr. Gaffney’s experiences that will benefit OPTEX Inc. moving forward include:
- SW Regional Sales Manager for Dynaco/Entrematic developing a dealer network for high speed doors and maintaining existing accounts.
- His time as the Northwest Regional Sales Manager for The Cookson Company where he established long-range sales strategies, motivated and provided leadership to the robust sales team, and fulfilled growth and revenue goals.
- His experience as the Business Manager for Air Liquide where he managed production solutions and sales opportunities across nine western states for national companies including Chevron and Shell.
- His role as the Commercial Manager for Air Liquide where he generated fifteen percent annual business growth with one hundred percent customer retention.
